Answer: Selene City is the world's first virtual Lunar Advertising City, where anyone can place their advertisement (image) with a link to the advertised web sites. Selene City advertisers are free to create, alter and update their improvements in real time, and each time they do so they change the overall face of the city, keeping it a lively, vibrant and interesting place for visitors. Answer: Everything is simple and straightforward. Anyone who so desires may
purchase virtual land and make improvements, thus contributing to the development of the
virtual lunar city as a whole. The landowner then puts a link to his or her web
site onto the improvement, thereby greatly increasing the number of hits on that
web site.
Top Instructions for land purchases from the " Buy the Land " page are as follows: Mark the cells you want to acquire by left-clicking on the selected cell, then drag the mouse until you have surrounded the parcel you want with a red line. When enough cells have been surrounded, release the left mouse button and click on "Buy the Land". Top Question: What is the difference between a parcel and an improvement? Answer: There is not really much difference. In either case what is offered is a well-defined space in the virtual city, with the minimum unit being one square (20 x 20 pixels). Top Question: Can I sell my parcel, and when? Answer: The lawful landowner can sell it any time and by any means. First remember that the new owner of the parcel will have to register (if he or she is completely new and has no account in our city) in order to become the lawful owner of the SeleneCity real estate with the right to upgrade the property. Top Question: How can I sell my parcel? Answer: By any means you choose. Just put it up for sale. All real estate you own in Selene City is personal, private property, so the city plays no role in its resale. Top Question: What improvements (images) can I place on the parcel I have purchased? Answer: Basically you can place whatever comes into your head onto your property. Some examples are vehicles, sculptures, buildings, and transmission towers. But the list doesn’t end there. You can put up anything that could be part of an imaginary city. Just do not forget - it should be a relief/modeled image. There are two important requirements: 1. It’s very important for the improvement to not be flat. It must be a relief/modeled image (3-Dimensional) and not fill up the entire area of the land you have purchased. It should blend harmoniously into the surrounding landscape. See examples in DesignHelp page. 2. Improvements must never contain any indecent or pornographic images, or any images or symbols promoting violence or racial animosity. Answer: This project will continue in operation as long as the Internet
exists:-) In any case, the mayor’s office of the city will make all efforts to
keep this promise and keep the city in business for no less than 30 years. In
fact, the efforts required to keep the city in working order require no
significant capital investments by the mayor’s office, and the necessary capital
investments to keep the city going for the next ten years have already been
made.

Question: Can the mayor’s office alter privately-owned improvements?
Answer: The mayor’s office of Selene City
does not make any alterations to privately-owned improvements. Only in
exceptional circumstances (if the improvement does not meet the city’s standards
and design rules given on the FAG page or DesignHelp page) will the management
of the city contact the owner of the improvement, in order to explain the need
for specific amendments to the design of an improvement. Such amendments also
serve to improve the appearance of the city. In cases where an owner makes a
serious violation of the established rules governing improvements (for example,
the ban on indecent or pornographic images, or images promoting violence or
racial animosity) and refuses to correct the image voluntarily, the owner’s
account may be blocked and the improvement removed by the administration. Question: Why is the city called Selene City? Answer: The city was named in honor of the Greek goddess Selene. For details, see Wikipedia. Top

If you are making a purchase from the Buy the Land page for the first time and do not have your own SeleneCity account, then right after you make payment (while on the PayPal page) it is very important to click on the __ Return to SeleneCity.com button (or "Return to Merchant" button) button so that a new account can be created for you instantly. Otherwise, it may take up to 48 hours for an account to be created for you. 2. If you are buying from the Buy the Land page for the first time, then right after going to your personal page, replace your temporary password with a permanent one and memorize the e-mail address used in your account as a log-in name. 3. If you are purchasing from eBay for the first time and you do not have a SeleneCity account of your own, then you will receive a message at your e-mail address with information about your activation number.
