INSTRUCTIONS:

To preserve the integrity of the city landscape and the overall perspective, three general rules should be kept in mind when creating improvements:

RULE 1:

The improvement should be lit from ABOVE and from the LEFT.

RULE 2:

Create your improvement at an angle of 90-70 degrees relative to the horizon (in other words, the improvements should appear as though seen from below, but at an angle of 90 or slightly less than 90 degrees). Top

RULE 3:

It’s very important for the improvement to be a relief/modeled image (3-Dimensional) - not flat! and not fill up the entire area of the land you have purchased. It should blend harmoniously into the surrounding landscape. See these examples:

These guidelines help keep the city from becoming unsightly. Precise adherence to the rules is not mandatory, but even partial compliance can contribute to the city’s harmonious appearance.

A few words of advice:

Remember that the image you put onto the land you have purchased in Selene City must be exactly the right size to fit onto your parcel (the size of the smallest square parcel in Selene City is 20x20 pixels.) Otherwise, your image will be distorted (by being forced into the size of the space where it is installed). Take a look at these examples:

Creating improvements (images) according to your specifications:

If you don’t have the time to create your own improvements, you can put in an order with us for the development and execution of a design project for your improvement. To do this, you should first:

1. Put together a description of the object. How do you want it to look, in terms of shape, color, and size? What should it resemble? (If possible, supply examples of structures with an appearance similar to what you have in mind. Supply pictures to aid us, if you can.) What is the text to go with it? Add any other helpful information.

2. Send this information to info@selenecity.com or directly to any of our design partners listed in SeleneCity Design Partners section (Remember that our partners could have different terms).

The order will be filled in 3 to 15 working days, depending on how complex your design is and the number of orders we have pending. Once the design is ready, you will receive a message about the completion of work, along with an attached sample. You may then publish the design as it is, or make alterations (if you find any details that are not to your liking).

After the improvement has been published on the site, you will receive a request for payment, which you may pay through PayPal to our payment address: bank@selenecity.com Top

We will also try to assist you with an image you have already created but no longer like and would like to modify. Simply write us at info@selenecity.com with a detailed description of your request and a copy of your image or contact our Design-Partners. Top

Drop into the forum of our web site to exchange all sorts of thoughts and experience. In particular, all those who would like to use the pages of our forum to post samples of their design visions may do so. At the same time, they can share their experience and skills with other city residents, for a fee or free of charge. (The administration of the city bears no responsibility for copyright protection of design projects posted in this section.) Top

SeleneCity is looking for outside designers for cooperation

The administration of the city is seeking to collaborate with outside designers (a group or one person) to carry out design work for city residents.

If you are a designer and would like to take part in our project, please contact the administration of SeleneCity at info@selenecity.com and check Design Cooperation in the subject field.

Outside designers will be given a special section on our web site from which they can receive orders (or redirect customers to their own web sites) from the residents of SeleneCity at their own rates. The city is not planning to levy any fees from transactions with outside designers Top
